Banjul The Gambia, March 18, 2026 - The Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) has reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive sports development by providing support to the Gambia National Paralympic Committee as the national para team prepares to compete in the Para Commonwealth Games Qualifiers in Angola.

The initiative highlights GNOC’s ongoing efforts to ensure that para athletes receive the necessary backing to represent the nation at international competitions.

The Gambian delegation, comprising athletes and technical officials, will participate in the qualifiers with the aim of securing places at upcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. GNOC’s support includes logistical coordination, administrative assistance, and preparation support to facilitate the team’s participation.
