The Gambia National Olympic Committee confirmed the participation of fourteen young athletes that will compete in four sports at the 2025 ANOCA African Youth Games in Luanda, Angola from December 10 through December 20, as detailed below:
Athletics will form the biggest number of athletes with 10 young stars ready to shine and make history. Five boys and Five girls will contest on the track.
African U18 champions in beach volleyball will represent with two athletes, looking to improve from their 2018 bronze medal glory. Judo and Badminton will all field one athlete at the games.
The Gambia delegation to the Angola Games will include officials from the GNOC, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, athletes, technical staff, and Press Attachè.
The delegation will be led by the GNOC Chef de Mission, Salifu Touray, president of Gambia Tug of war Association.
